The Environment, Development and Infrastructure committee, of Â鶹¸ßÇå and Bute Council, agreed on Thursday (June 20) to write to the Scottish Government to secure financial support which will enable the council to comply with the upcoming Biodegradable Municipal Waste (BMW) ban.

Pavement parking ban powers endorsed

Councillors have agreed a list of actions to help address the housing shortage in Â鶹¸ßÇå and Bute.

Â鶹¸ßÇå and Bute Council is inviting people to have their say on a proposed walking and cycling route that will link the ferry terminals at Tarbert and Kennacraig, making it safer and easier for more people to choose to walk and cycle to nearby services and facilities.

The candidates standing for election in the Â鶹¸ßÇå, Bute and South Lochaber Constituency for the UK General Election, on 4 July, are confirmed.
